Who we are

Books A Nation ("we", "us") is an independent publishing services company. We provide editing, design, formatting, publishing setup and marketing services to authors. We are not a traditional publisher and do not acquire rights in your work.

Your work stays yours

You retain all rights to your manuscript, and you own the deliverables we produce for you (such as cover artwork and formatted files) once the agreed fees are paid. Royalties from retail platforms are paid to you under your own accounts wherever the platform allows.

Quotes and payment

Work begins after you approve a written quote. Quotes are itemised and fixed for the agreed scope; changes to scope are agreed in writing before any additional cost is incurred.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the material you provide is your own work or that you have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You are responsible for the accounts and platform terms under which your book is published.

Third-party platforms

Platform names mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and their terms and royalty rates are set by them and may change.

Liability

We carry out our services with professional care. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service concerned. We are not liable for decisions made by third-party platforms, such as listing removals or account actions.
